Recruiting Events

COLLEGIATE BOWLING SHOWCASE EVENT

Note: If you are looking for a traditional scholarship tournament to win SMART scholarships, by competing in a tournament, then this is NOT the event for you. 
 
HOWEVER, if you are looking to get recognized by top college coaches from across the country and get recruited, then this is where you need to be. 

Our Showcase Events are heavily focused on recruiting and is the best bang for your buck.

Using our uniquely organized Event Strategy:

  1. This event maximizes the athlete's exposure to college coaches throughout all aspects of the event.

  2. We educate athletes and parents on the recruiting process prior to the event, so you can put your best foot forward. Know is power and being prepared has helped numerous athletes get recruited.

  3. This event is structured to help you make the highest quality connections possible. Resulting often in recruiting offers shortly after the event.

  4. We will help guide you through the most important and critical step - Follow-up

This event consists of Four parts:

  1. Uniquely organized Meet and Greet Session with top college coaches from across the country.

  2. Educational session covering recruiting topics and how college bowling is organized

  3. On-The-Lane skills demonstration for the coaches. This part of the event is uniquely organized to get your athlete maximum exposure. 

  4. Clinic taught by college coaches where bowlers will receive personalize instruction from a variety of college coaches.

Note: If you are looking for a traditional scholarship tournament to win SMART scholarships, then these ARE the events for you.

 

At these tournament we will a few college coaches present for you to interact with. Keep in mind these are tournament focused events.

Partnership Events are when we when team up with established local travel leagues and tournaments. These partners often have SMART scholarships as part of their tournaments.

We bring a few college coaches to these events, so bowlers and parents have a chance to meet colleges.

​

These events are excellent ways to start getting connected with college coaches or they can be used as a follow-up to a Showcase event. College coaches like it when they can see their recruit compete in different venues before they make offers to the athlete.

 

These events are designed to give athletes more opportunities to get in front of college coaches.

These events consist of two parts:

  1. Meet & Greet: Where bowlers and parents will be a little bit before and after the tournament to talk to college coaches present. 

  2. Tournament: Organized and run by our local partner.

These are traditional tournaments were SMART Scholarships can be earned. We will have a few colleges at these events for you to meet. These events less focused the recruiting and more focused on the tournament.

These events typically consist of three parts:
  1. Meet & Greet: Where bowlers and parents will be a little bit before and after the tournament to talk college coaches present. 
  2. Tournament: Organized and our RecruitUS partners

  3. College Coach Led on-lane clinic

BOWLING CLINICS

CLINICS ARE TAUGHT BY COLLEGE COACHES

This unique Clinic is focused around what it's like to bowl in college and how best to prepare for college bowling. 

​

This 1 day clinic is taught by Current or Former College Coaches. 

​

Event is open to Boys and Girls grades 7 thru 12.

Details and Topics:

  • Includes classroom time and on lane instruction

  • 5:1 ratio (5 bowlers to 1 coach)

  • Typically the event runs 10am-4pm

  • Lunch is included

  • Video analysis

  • Analyze bowler's game using Specto Ball Tracker (when available)

  • Bowlers will receive a take home workbook

  • Topics covered:

    • Expectations of a college bowler

    • What it is like to bowl on a college team

    • Physical conditioning strategies

    • Ball motion​

    • Equipment check

    • Lane conditions

    • Tournament Strategies used by college coaches

    • Power of the Mental Game

    • and more...

There are many advantages to this event. One is personal instruction by college coaches. The second is the opportunity to make a quality connection with a variety of college coaches.
